Due to postage costs, this is for UK readers only, at the moment.
—
We’ve loads of books that we simply odn’t have time to read, and can’t afford to pay anyone to review (we are free-to-read, after all).
If you’d like some to be posted to you, simply leave your name in this post, along with the type of book you prefer:
Eg: Horror, Epic Fantasy, Comedy, Hard SF
We can’t promise to get you your heart’s desire, and we can’t promise to give you books that you haven’t already read, but hey! They’re free!
Your email address will be sent to us, but will not show on your post.
We’ll pick a few of you at random, and get in touch for your snail mail address.
We’d love it if you’d read one or more of the books we send you and write a review or two for us. We can’t pay you, but you can keep the books we send, and if you review, there’s a better chance of us sending you more freebies in future!
Help Hub and help yourself!
Hub – Issue 12
It’s hard to believe that this is already our 10th electronic-only edition of Hub (our first two, as many of you know, were hardcopy editions).
Is there anything else you’d like to see us do? Anything you’d like us to drop?
More reviews? Fewer reviews? More interviews? More features? Go on… tell us… You know you want to…
More specifically, how did you like Issue 12? A bumber edition this week, with plenty more to come. Did you like the fiction? Did the Doctor Who article float your boat? Were the reviews useful? We’d love to know…
Hub Design
A recent review of various genre eZines stated that Hub’s design was uninspiring, but it does the job.
This was an intentional decision on our part, as it means that file sizes are generally smaller, and the pages easier to read (especially for readers using PDAs); also, of course, keeping it simpler makes it easier for us to keep to our weekly schedule.
But what do you think? Would you prefer a slightly snazzier design at the expense of file size, or is this not important to you? Let us know in the usual way, after the beep.
Beeeeeeep.
Hub – Issue 11
“The Blue Parallel” by Jessica Reisman, an interview with Charles Stross.

Issue 9
A dark sense of inevitability in this week’s tale. Tell us what you thought.
