Hot on the heels of the Mike Carey interview a few week ago we have one with UK horror luminary, Shaun Hutson this week, as well as the usual mix of reviews and short fiction – a bit of a racy one this week, so hold on to your hat, grandma…
Really enjoyed the interview with Mr. Slugs. One small problem – I wanted to put a link on our board where people could download it but I keep getting a server error ehen I type in the www hub-mag address in your banner. Is there a problem with the site?
You’re doing a great job on the mag, guys. Pity I hardly ever have time or inclination to spend ages reading off the screen, these days. I hope others do. I did notice that after I moaned about printing out umpteen unnumbered pages, way back, you started numbering the pages. Thanks.
It’s gone four in the morning and I’d been up finishing a story, when I thought I’d take one last look in the mailbox. I stuck a message up on the Vault as soon as I saw you had a Shaun Hutson interview. I came late to Hutson. Tried two of his mid-period novels and thought they were entertaining enough, but not quite for me. Recently picked up a copy of Assassins and thought there was a damned good horror thriller there, just slightly irritated by an apparent fixation with zit picking which seemed a bit juvenile and unnecessary. But yes, the man can definitely write, and I have to admire the hard work and skill he’s put into it over the years. Thanks to Paul Kane and Mary O’Regan.
Best,
Rog

Thanks, demonik – I notice that, too. It was odd, as I was able to upload to the server, but not see the pages to check them , afterward. A quick glance at the hosting company’s support pages told me they were having some unscheduled outage, but it all seems to have been fixed now.

I really enjoyed that story — one of the best you’ve published to date (IMHO).

Well done on the mag. I think it’s terrific
Typical, Dem’s got here before me.
